Blogging Again

This feels like a déjà vu. The last time I did this, I was a teenager and blogging was a huge thing along with customizing my Friendster profile, making sure I have the latest pop song playing on the background.
In 2016, fresh out of university, I made the big move from my small hometown in Sarawak to the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. At first, life in the capital city was filled with the thrill of new experiences and the challenges of building a life and career in a city that never seems to slow down. This whole experience in itself, the good and bad, has taught me how to survive on my own. The trip here alone was not short of challenges, but it sparked something in me - my love for travelling and exploring new places.
I took my first trip abroad to Germany to visit my sister, and a trip to a charming neighboring old town in France. I remember the sheer excitement of stepping into a world so different from home: the cobblestoned streets, the taste of fresh pastries, the sound of different languages filling the air. That trip showed me new sights; and what led to my urge to explore more corners of the globe.
Travel became a source of inspiration for me, a reminder that the world is bigger than I’d ever imagined and filled with endless stories waiting to be discovered. And now, years later, with KL as my base, I’m here to share those stories, lessons learned, and tips for anyone who dreams of traveling for the first time, traveling solo or with friends and families, discovering new cultures, and embracing life’s adventures.
So here’s to journeys that change us, the ones that nudge us out of our comfort zones, and the little moments that stay with us long after we’ve unpacked our bags. Welcome to felicia richard blog, where I hope to inspire you to book that flight (or bus, train whichever mode of transportation, gurl!) ticket, explore new places - whether in your hometown or halfway across the world. Stay tuned and safe travels, babe! :)
